Excursion #1
“Tesla Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg - Vehicle Manufacturing”
The tour begins with a brief presentation in our lobby before the guided tour of the plant begins. The tour focuses on the production of the Model Y. It takes you from the body shop and the stamping shop, where the body parts are formed, through the foundry, where the rear underbody is manufactured, all the way to the final assembly line.
Please note that the tour focuses exclusively on vehicle production. The production areas for batteries and powertrains, as well as cell manufacturing, are not included in the tour.

Wednesday, November 23, 2026 (The day before the conference)
1:45–2:00 p.m. Meet at the check-in counter of the Future Battery Forum (at the Estrel Berlin)
2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m . Bus transfer (You can bring your luggage with you on the excursion and leave it on the bus.)
2:45–3:00 p.m. Registration - Tesla Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Guided tour of the vehicle production facility
4:30–5:15 p.m. Return trip by bus to the Estrel Hotel
5:15–5:45 p.m. Onward to the pre-event at Felleshus, Nordic Embassies

Excursion #2
"Look behind the curtain: theion's crystal battery = sulfur is the future"
During the visit to the Berlin start-up theion GmbH at the Innovation Hub Berlin Adlershof, guests will learn about ground-breaking technologies, including monoclinic crystalline sulphur, a new type of cathode, and lithium metal host anodes that increase energy density. The visit also includes a guided tour that provides a comprehensive overview of the company's pioneering work.
